Mangosteen in Skin Care Products & Anti-Aging

The purple Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana), unrelated to the mangos, is a tropical fruit that is believed to have originated in the Sunda Islands and the Moluccas of Indonesia. Today the fruit can be found in many countries of South East Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and of course Indonesia. The fruit is about 5-7 cm in size, outside deep reddish purple and inside opaque white.

Mangosteen is high in Antioxidants – Xanthones
